JS-2000 weather resistant silicone sealant for building is a single component, neutral curing, designed specifically for weather resistant and waterproof sealing in building curtain walls. It can be easily extruded and used at -5 ℃ -40 ℃, relying on the moisture in the air to solidify into excellent and durable elastic silicone rubber.

- Surface cleaning: Remove all surface dirt such as grease, dust, moisture, residual sealant, and impurities and pollutants such as assembly accessories and protective coatings that remain at the interface and assembly recesses.
- Primer: The use of Zhijiang silicone sealant usually does not require the use of a primer. If the adhesive test requires the use of a primer on certain materials, the Zhijiang special primer should be poured onto a non shedding white cloth, wiped onto a thin layer of the surface that needs to be sealed, and allowed to dry before applying the sealant.
- Covering: The area near the interface needs to be covered to ensure that the sealing work lines are perfect and neat. Do not touch the masking tape on the surface where the sealant is to be applied. After the sealant is applied, it must be repaired immediately before the sealant has peeled. After the repair work is completed, the covering tape must be removed immediately.
- Gasket materials: open cell polyurethane or closed cell polyethylene foam foam rod and polyolefin materials are recommended. For shallow joints that cannot accommodate foam rods, polyethylene tape can be used instead. These materials play a role in preventing the three sided bonding of the sealant.

When JS-2000 weather resistant silicone sealant is stored in its original packaging in a dry and ventilated environment at 27 ℃ or lower, the shelf life of JS-2000 products is 12 months from the date of production.
